Our Pastured Pork Bacon is uncured which means it is simply 100% pure pork with no sugar, MSG, nitrates, or artificial flavoring. Also referred to simply as sliced pork belly, our uncured pasture-raised bacon is rich in healthy, natural, wholesome fats that are vital to human wellness.

Preparation suggestion: In order to achieve the traditional taste and texture often associated with most cured bacons, we like to prepare our uncured bacon in a large cast-iron skillet, over medium-low heat. Season generously with sea salt, fresh ground black pepper, or even organic maple syrup. Ahhh - enjoy!

Ingredient: Pastured Pork, Min. average net wt. 15 oz.

This bacon is wonderful!!! It's a thick cut, which we loved. I baked it after seasoning it with garlic salt, and my entire family gobbled it up! Awesome bacon, and awesome service all around! Thanks!

Amazing flavor. I plan on doubling (or tripling) my order next month. After crisping a few slices this morning for breakfast, I used the rendered fat to fry some hashed turnips and rutabaga.

My wife and I love this bacon--it is SO much better than "regular" bacon--but different. Interesting that the reviews above speak to the difference. We found we liked it salted it (after cooking) with sea salt. But less smell and very pure. Provides tons of energy after eating. Slept better too! Good stuff and more to be ordered. Go Pig or Go Home!

We just ate some of this bacon this morning. . . I was a little worried about it after the two reviews because I wasn't going to make a confit w/it and the other gal wasn't thrilled... BUT! I woke up thinking "I need to brine it!" So, I threw it in a ziplock bag with a couple cups of filtered water, a TBS sea salt, come pepperorns and 1/4 cup of real maple suryp and left it in the fridge for 2 hours, then drained, rinsed and baked most of it and fried the rest . . . YUM!! It was awesome! One of the great things it that it doesn't stink like store bought bacon always does! For hours the house would reek of this not so good bacon smell, so my husband took to grilling it outside to avoid that. There was no yucky smell associated with this!
We love it! So very glad it turned out so well... next time I think I'll brine it over night and maybe get more of that maple flavor infused into it!
Thank you for your great service too!

To anyone, try this slab of belly in a whole form. Look up on line, you'll be very happy.

I was actually surprised by the lack of flavor in the bacon I received yesterday. The fat barely cooked off and left the bacon too chewy in texture. I thought I had found a good solution for avoiding "spices" and "nitrates" but I'm sad to admit I'd rather skip out on bacon than eat this again. Bummer. Shipping was fast and my kids loved experimenting with the dry ice it was shipped with, so overall not a complete fail.
